Hey Stampers!

It was so awesome to hold my class today. It was actually a make up class as the original class had to be cancelled due to hurricane Matthew. I was so happy to see my girls. I ALWAYS look forward to my classes. I love my regulars and I love the girls that come when they are here for the winter.

We always have a blast and everyone works together and helps each other out. It’s so funny that I had put off holding classes for so long. I didn’t think I was a good teacher and I didn’t think my cards were good enough. My awesome friend and Team Leader Oksana always encouraged and urged me to try. So I tried, I loved it and look forward to it every month. Check out Oksana’s blog here Oksana’s Blog. She really creates some beautiful projects.

When I started to create the cards for class, I was having a hard time with creativity. When that happens I always turn to my BFF Kristen Lee. Check out her YouTube channel here Kristen Lee’s YouTube. She has some awesome easy to follow tutorials. So, Kris created a card for my class. Now that’s a best friend, Right?

Hey Stampers!

I am so excited for our blog hop today. Fall is in the air, even here in Florida. We are actually supposed to have some cool weather today. I am really looking forward to it. After Hurricane Matthew knocked out all of our power and causing so much damage, I think we are all ready for some nice cool weather.

Today I have two cute cards for you. I just love the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set . The little Scarecrow is so adorable and I thought he would be so perfect for Thanksgiving.

My first card I used the gorgeous Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper . I also used Watercolor Paper and my Aqua Painter to watercolor him to give him a softer look. I think he came out so cute.

I added the oh so adorable Mini Pinecones

My next card I still used and watercolored our cute little scarecrow but added the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack . I love the realistic backgrounds in this stack. I put our little guy on a post to scare away the crows from eating the corn or the pumpkins. lol. He really isn’t scary is he?

I just love using our Ink Pads , Aqua Painter and Watercolor Paper together.

Welcome to the Stamp It Group Halloween and Fall Blog Hop. I am so excited to see all the fun creations everyone has to share. How about you?

I love Halloween don’t you? I love going into the grocery store and seeing all the scary decorations everywhere. One of my favorite things, is seeing the cupcakes the bakery creates. Orange, Black and Purple icing with the cute little cupcake toppers to match.

Those cute yummy cupcakes inspired my card today. I was also inspired by a youtube video from demo Dawn Griffith . I had so much fun creating this Pop Up Twist Panel Card. It just makes me smile. I plan on giving it to my niece with a matching cupcake.

The front of the card is cute but pretty simple. I wanted the inside to be the WOW! lol

The card comes out pretty thick so I didn’t use any dimensionals on it, so it will still fit in an envelope.

The pop up actually twists open to reveal the fun scary cupcakes.

I just love the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper , it has so many cute and versatile patterns.

What do you think of my little scary guys? Aren’t they just adorable? For the Mummy I used the cheesecloth looking stamp from the Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set The Vampire was so fun to color with the Stampin’ Write Markers , and for the Skeleton I colored in around his bones with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker so he would really stand out.

Cards We Made In Class! And a FREE Prize!

I wanted to share with you the cards we made in class on Wednesday.

My BFF Kristen Lee shared a video with me from Patty Bennett, a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I immediately fell in love.

These cards use the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack , Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes and Crumb Cake Note Cards & Envelopes.

When using Patty’s method you can make 96 cards from one Serene Scenery DSP Paper Stack. How awesome is that? And The Note Cards and Envelopes come 20 to the pack and are pre-cut and scored. This was such a fun and easy class.

I hope you enjoy these. What is your favorite card? I would love to hear.
